[I thought I’d show Zimbabweans what real money looks like, since they now are playing with a collapsed paper currency. I grabbed these images from this website: http://www.a2oxford.info/pages/currency/pages…br>
On there, the notes are showing in greater detail, back and front.

Take note of the tiny denominations of the Rhodesian dollar: $1, $2, $5 and $10. Nice hey? This was real money, which the entire world hated, and yet it prospered. Despite worldwide comprehensive sanctions, this currency flourished and had a greater value than even the US dollar!

Currently, the largest currency in Zimbabwe is a Z$500 bill and its worth, at best, a couple of cents!!! Hmmm… I’d say the “exchange rate” between a Rhodesian Dollar and a Zimbabwe Dollar is anything in the order of 200,000 or 300,000 to one!! Hee hee.
