[Here is a report from Namibia. Part of it is in english and part of it is in Afrikaans. It is about a black guy who made a placard saying all the whites should be killed.

He is going on trial for hate speech. We will have to see where it goes. Jan]

œKILL ALL WHITES!

The Namibian van 12 April 2006 rapporteer onder meer:

œHate-speech suspect Malcolm X Matundu, who is accused of being responsible for the parading of a placard with the words (152)˜Kill all whites™ along Windhoek™s main street last year, is threatening that he will refuse to stand trail under what he says are (152)˜white occupiers laws™.

En verderaan:
œAfter his first appearance in court, Matundu told The Namibian that he had actually being the proud and (152)˜authentic author™ of that placard.

He has in the meantime also delivered a hand-written, three-page statement to the offices of The Namibian.

He said yesterday that he still stood by what he had stated in that document.

Daar word dan ook verder berig dat die saak uitgestel is tot 29 Augustus 2006.

Oor sy bewering dat Namibie(171)« se grondwet deur witmense opgestel is, later meer hieroor. Nou wil ek net konsentreer op die wantroue wat daar tussen gemeenskappe en groepe bestaan of bestaan het. Nie net tussen rasse nie, maar ook verskillende stamme, kultuurgroepe en gemeenskappe. Nie net tussen swart en wit nie, maar ook tussen wit en wit en swart en swart. Wat hierdie spesifieke geval betref, sal dit ook hoogs onverantwoordelik wees om te glo of te aanvaar dat Malcolm X. Matundu se mening net die mening van ™n individu is. Ek het rede om te aanvaar dat oor die hele spektrum heen, daar duisende is wat sy sentimente deel. Juis dit maak dit so noodsaaklik dat die saak uitgepraat word.
