Woman: The best advice I ever got in my life, came from Jan!

[Today a white woman at my work resigned. Both she and her boyfriend have read my book, my website and often chatted to me.

She came to me and then said that she wanted to thank me, because hidden away in one article of mine, was advice which completely changed her life. She said that as far as she was concerned it was the best advice anyone had EVER given her.

So what was the advice? Well, in one article of mine, I mentioned the problem of Management versus Workers in S.Africa, and I had said that blacks really don’t have strong technical abilities. When it comes to mathematics, logic, science, etc – blacks just aren’t good at that. When it relates to art, or law (memory), they’re good. But when it gets down to anything truly technical, and geeky, they’re lost. So they tend to be, at best, mediocre as computer programmers, scientists or engineers.

So my advice to whites in Africa was this: Whenever you are given a chance to move into Management positions – DON’T. Rather stay technical in your field. Why? Because the first people targetted for replacement, are the Managers in any company. Even if you are right at the very top, and you are brilliant, and you steer your company towards making millions of Rands – you will be removed and replaced with a black man – period.

My advice is, stay technical… as much as possible because ultimately, Managers are the easiest people to replace, but SKILLED WORKERS are harder to replace – much harder – sometimes, even impossible to replace.

And since we have no job security, we need to cling to whatever we can. Now this was a decision and insight which I arrived at many years ago, before the ANC even came to power in SA. I made a conscious decision, that to safeguard my ability to earn a living, I would stay out of management – even if it meant less money.

And I did tell the story about the young blacks who mocked me at work, and later, they respected me when they saw the things I could do, which they could not. They realised that the job was actually much harder than they had thought!

So this woman turned around and said to me today that she wants to thank me because it helped her to make up her own mind about her own career when she was faced with the prospect of moving into management. She is very technical, and this prompted her to remain in that position. Now she is leaving because of an opportunity which has arisen because of her technical skills. And she is very happy indeed.

So we chatted more about this theme. I said to her, that in my view, we whites need to “think outside the box” in order to survive. We must no longer just look at things in a static, and staid way. We need to analyse our situation carefully and adjust our tactics accordingly. We might find we are not as screwed as we think, or as our enemies would like us to be.

I told her that, at the end of the day, the Govt can play with racial quotas as much as they want, but if Big Companies start losing profitability… because of incompetance being put into it… then there will be serious consequences. These non-whites can play around all they want, but in the end, it will damage businesses. And at that point… even the non-white management will be in a spot, because to press on further would be to collapse large business organisations.

I told her that in the end, it boils down to this: Someone has to do the work! You can’t run a company with managers alone and no workers. In this modern age, in order to be competitive, you need WORKERS – SKILLED, EFFICIENT WORKERS. And we whites are hard workers, and we’re organised. We can actually work well – better than the blacks in fact. Just because, under Apartheid, the whites largely took over management, does not mean that management is everything. We also built these organisations up from nothing. Whites also did a lot of the actual WORK. It wasn’t “black slavery” which built up the sophisticated country. There was a lot of clever, hard work which was done by white people. We should never forget this important fact.

So I think, that while the blacks love the suits, ties and BMW’s, we whites must WILLINGLY (as a tactical move), become the WORKERS. We know we can be good managers if we want to be. But for survival purposes, it is better to have a job, than no job at all. So rather do technical things, and be willing to work, even if it means picking up a pick and shovel. In fact, I wish more white Blue Collar workers would also take more pride in their work. Whites who are welders, or electricians, or fitters and turners… all these people should look at their technical skills and realise that this is what can save their lives. Whites should dust off all those “lowly” “blue collar skills” because the irony of it is that whites actually are better at these tasks, even though many blacks later took over these jobs.

I then told her that in my view, there is a next stage to all this, and that is the stage when all these laws start crippling businesses and industry in this country. These “Black Socialist” laws come AT A COST – a big one. They are making companies less profitable. These laws are extremely costly. In fact, the cost of these laws increases almost EXPONENTIALLY according to the size of a company. Small companies are not very affected. But big companies suffer a lot.

It has been predicted by some that big corporations will fail, and small businesses will take over. I don’t think that will be the case. I think, big corporations will start shedding more and more of their less profitable divisions – and thus they will shrink in size. But, those unprofitable divisions will provide the basis for new businesses – small, niche businesses.

And this is going to be the next stage for us whites. Those whites who do have the skills and savvy will be the ones who can start small niche businesses. They can be run efficiently, and kept small (and hence will fly under the radar of the Black Socialist Laws). And they could become quite profitable.

As I explained to her, no matter how you slice it, in the end, all that matters is: Who can do the work best, and the most efficiently. And on that score, we can beat the blacks, almost every time.

They can make laws until they’re up to their eyeballs in red tape and it will not be able to stop even THEM from needing skilled workers.

I pointed out that a friend of mine was driven out of Telkom by non-whites who told him that he was welcome to resign. He is now working in the Middle East. He is soon to return to S.Africa where he will now earn much much more than he ever earned when he was here. Why? Because the IT industry is now so damaged, and has lost so many white people that they are paying lots of money for those geeky technical skills which he has.

I am seeing a funny, and quite delightful trend even in my workplace. We are in a situation where we have lots of white workers reporting to non-white managers. The whites are not only better workers, but they are MORE LOYAL, and the non-white managers are finding that their dependency on these whites is increasing more and more.

In my own department, they originally got rid of lots of white males and replaced them with non-whites and women. The blacks were given all sorts of special treatment. The blacks were given extra courses they could go on “because they were disadvantaged”. The blacks were offered share packages, etc. But… there are so few blacks who actually can do even the most low-level work… (they just don’t have the aptitude)… that they are in high demand, and they move from one company to another for more pay. The blacks get special treatment but they don’t stay long.

In fact, in another dept in our company, I saw them recruit 2 black women as business analysts. Those black women hardly stayed 2 months and then they had a better job offer and left. But legally, the company must hunt for more blacks to replace them. In fact sometimes they can’t even find enough blacks with the skills, so they then hire a white person again.

In my own department, technical whites form the cornerstone of the department.

So… ironic as this may seem, non-white managers are finding that their most loyal and trustworthy workers are actually white! So that’s another feather in our cap.

And finally… whites are also willing to work for LESS MONEY than the blacks. Now this final point still has an even more crucial role to play in the future.

I think one may find, in the future, small white-owned businesses springing up. Whites have more initiative than blacks as we have seen, as one Black Economic Empowerment company after another hits the wall.

I think White unemployment could be solved by whites, if we worked like this: The few whites who are hanging in there, and who are making money, will find that they will make more and more money as time goes by. They will eventually be in a position to start these “niche businesses”. Now, if they can work very “loosely” with other whites (to avoid red-tape), then they could find CHEAP BLUE COLLAR WORKERS – in the form of other whites. These cheap white workers will also be more efficient than their black counterparts.

So… we whites could ultimately turn the entire system on its head because then we would control all these small, mega-efficient, businesses, and we will not only take over niche markets, but we could then start competing with other big bloated, inefficient black-dominated businesses.

In the end, the efficient working unit will be triumphant, and will slaughter these Black Socialist dominated businesses. This may of course take another 20 years… but that would be the next step.

In the end, business depends on profitability, and profitability is a function of efficiency. So in the end, these Black Socialist laws will rebound on the blacks.

Their plan was to take everything over at the top and to dominate everything, but it won’t be that simple. When small, lean, mean white dominated businesses sprout… they will be a serious challenge.

Another possibility too is that these skilled whites will run around acting as highly paid consultants to these bloated Black Socialist dominated businesses.

No matter how you slice it… skill, efficiency and work ethic will dominate.

Another negative is the black love of striking. White workers almost NEVER strike.

So I think that if whites think “out of the box” and act with determination and courage, we could actually survive very well.

All that would be left would be for the govt to start nationalising businesses or taking other radical forms of action… and as we have seen in Zimbabwe in the end they end up with… a lot of fallow wasted land!! If they nationalise businesses, they will just destroy them. So even that will not enable them to beat us.

As long as we keep our wits and our skills about us, we can always create something new.

This woman’s boyfriend is an avid reader of my website. She was telling me that he pulled out my book, “Government by Deception” to read it for a second time. I am delighted with that. It pleases me to see that my hard thinking is appreciated by some people who see its survival potential. I had indeed hoped that book would help white people in Africa to survive.

I notice that some ideas which I put in there seem to have silently spread to a very large number of people. For example, many white people these days no longer doubt that the Government wants us gone, and that crime is nothing more than Clandestine War against us.

I was telling her that just yesterday, I saw a news item which related back to something I wrote in Government by Deception 6 years ago. I heard that the Government wants to ban smoking in S.Africa – completely. I heard such a discussion on Khaya FM radio! I smiled. In Govt by Deception, on Page 220, I wrote that our Govt comes down like a ton of bricks on the “crimes that don’t matter” whereas they quietly do nothing about the crimes which really do matter. They want to pretend they’re doing something, and that they are “tough”, but they do it for things that don’t matter. They have made draconian laws against cigarette smoking, but they do nothing about murder. In fact, if you will look closely you will see that they CAN act when they want to – its just that they deliberately choose not to act on the laws which could make a real difference.

I said that our Government loves crime, and wants crime, and wants to make crime worse. I stick to that view. The fact that they disbanded every single Specialised Police Unit in this country tells me that the Police were still TOO EFFECTIVE. Despite all the crime, the Govt was NOT satisfied. Crime was still NOT high enough to drive us whites out en masse. So that is why they disbanded the specialised Police units in the hope that crime would go higher.

Their next problem is that capitalism, in the form of Security Companies is stepping in to help curb crime. So I wonder if the Govt will start acting against the Security Companies at some stage?

In Govt By Deception, I spoke of how the Govt PREVENTED Hi-Tech British Securty Companies from investing vast amounts in S.Africa in 2001. Why? Because they could have helped to bring crime to an end. So it had to be sabotaged.

Look at the Security Guards strike which has continued now for more than a month. That opens up new possibilities for criminals. I think the Communist-dominated Trade Unions were pushing for the ridiculous 13% pay increase in order to get the Security Guards away from their work for a long time so as to encourage more crime against us whites.

And that is why I referred to ANC rule as “Government by Deception”.

Wait until I put up some photos taken by Riaan, a friend of mine, showing some of the placards held by the strikers – calling for “war”. Other placards refer to the “Boere”. He even shot video footage of it. I want to ask him if he will allow me to sell some of his footage to interested parties.

It pleases me greatly to see more and more whites realising what we are facing. That gives me a great sense of hope. As I keep telling people: Don’t worry too much about us being outnumbered by 10 to 1… we must just be brave, and stand our ground. Jan]
