[I spotted these two most interesting maps in a modern S.African school text book. These maps illustrate many points which I have made in my posts over the years.

This map shows how S.Africa developed before Apartheid (1948). It shows how blacks migrated away from the rural areas into the cities.

It is worth pausing and pondering this point for a second. Current ANC/Govt propaganda mimics Robert Mugabe’s line that: “Blacks want land, land, land, and they want it and need it to survive now”. This is a complete lie as this modern text book, which was printed in 1996 (after “Democracy”) clearly shows. Even pupils in our own schools are being taught something different to the propaganda which goes out in the media and across the world.

I stated before: Apartheid moved blacks into their own countries. They could not make it in the rural areas (in the very tribal areas from whence their forefathers came – to be exact!) – and they moved back into the cities. This caused Apartheid to fail. But the map below shows that the blacks were migrating out of their rural areas even before Apartheid. The map below that shows that Apartheid tried to put them back where they came from. What the 2nd map does not show is that the blacks resisted this. Nevertheless, all the “hideous dehumanizing pass laws” which everyone across the world has heard about, were all aimed at trying to take the blacks and to put them back into their RURAL TRIBAL HOMELANDS FROM WHENCE THEY CAME! But they did not want to stay there!

The bottom line: Blacks did not want to live in their tribal areas any more. Even as poor squatters in townships and shanty towns around the edge of white cities, they were living a better life than they could eke out in the rural areas.

And since history is full of irony, we can see Robert Mugabe trying, with sets of lies, to entice blacks in the urban areas of Zimbabwe to move into the rural areas. His policy has been a complete failure. The blacks returned back to the urban areas and 80-90% of the farmland previously owned by whites is now barren and the blacks don’t want to live there.

So, the truth of history in Southern Africa is this: White men, who were good at farming are the ones who went and made the most use of the land WHICH THE BLACKS DID NOT WANT TO LIVE ON! The blacks couldn’t live on their own land, and they preferred an urban life, even as a squatter, because it was a better life than in the rural areas. Modern economics is 1000% better than African rural life. Forget all the nonsense about the “noble savage”. Its complete rubbish.

This map below, in this modern text book shows exactly what I have said many times about Apartheid: There were 4 independent Homelands. Now that term meant: They had their own parliament, their own budget, their own army, police and constitution. The blacks in the Independent Homelands were even given additional subsidies and monies by the White Govt located in Pretoria.

Let me repeat myself: Under Apartheid, there existed 4 completely INDEPENDENT BLACK NATIONS INSIDE OF SOUTH AFRICA. They were 100% independent in every legal definition of the word. There were 4 black owned and run COUNTRIES engaging in SELF RULE – INDEPENDENCE within the borders of South Africa – UNDER APARTHEID. But, for the record, the ENTIRE WORLD REFUSED TO ACCEPT THESE NATIONS AS DE FACTO STATES. But they existed, and if you will read and study the history of S.Africa you will see that I am 100% correct. This was NOT OPPRESSION. It was the exact opposite. Apartheid, believe it or not, was quite an enlightened and well-thought-through policy.

Then there were “Self-Governing Homelands”. These were Homelands, also based in the tribal areas from whence the blacks came. Again – SELF GOVERNMENT. They were not fully independent, but they were run by blacks.

The original Apartheid plan was that as the blacks were able to take control of their affairs, they would be given more independence and more freedom.

But as I said in a reply to some questions a time back: If you give a child an arithmetic test and he fails, you don’t go and give him a harder arithmetic test and now expect him to pass. And so it was with Apartheid. The blacks were given certain regions to run but they did not do well. The best run homeland was Bophuthatswana. As I said in the past: Experiments in black self rule in S.Africa were tried as early as the 1890’s under Cecil John Rhodes. These were EXPERIMENTS. Whites actually gave blacks the chance to govern themselves and they watched the results. But as I have said before, the blacks did not do a good job.

S.Africa is unique in the anals of African history because it had given blacks decades to prove themselves – and the results were not promising. In that sense, Apartheid was even more enlightened than British Colonialism!

Furthermore, the ANC, which rules S.Africa today engaged in a policy of MURDERING black Policeman and black officials who ran these black countries. The ANC, which today rules S.Africa DELIBERATELY ENGAGED IN THE SABOTAGE OF THE EFFORTS OF THE WHITES TO GET MODERATE BLACKS TO SUCCEED. This is a very important fact to understand. This also happened in Zimbabwe. The modern rulers try to pretend that whites were oppressive megalomaniacs. That is completely contrary to the historical record for anyone who will take a bit of time to study it. The White people in Colonial and Apartheid times were far more reasonable and logical than they have ever been given credit for. They did try to encourage moderate blacks to work with them, and this was all sabotaged by the spiteful ones like the ANC who preferred to try to disrupt and destroy everything so that peaceful progress could not succeed.

I have said before, and I will repeat this again: In African history, the Liberators actually set back the progress of the blacks by about 50-100 years. If they had instead worked with the whites peacefully, the situation of blacks would have been far better than it is now.

But this is not where it will end. I predict, (and this has already started coming true), that as the ANC continues to rule this country, that black people will become ever poorer (the masses that is). Just the other day, it was acknowledged on TV that 140,000 black farm workers lost their jobs in S.Africa in the period 2004-2005. In the first 5 years of ANC rule (1994-1999) we know another 1 million people lost jobs. Nobody knows the exact number of jobs which have been lost since the ANC came to power in 1994. Jan]
