[When the ANC came to power they engaged in the biggest arms purchase in S.African history. Many scandals and issues came out of it. The last I heard it had cost the country R60 billion. The purchase includes fighter aircraft, helicopters, corvettes for our navy and submarines.

I think the corvettes and submarines were built by the Germans.
