[Well, hot on the heels of our hypothetical discussion of what could happen if there was a “Night of the Long Knives”, I spotted a headliner in the new NOVA newspaper. It read: “Army too sick to fight”. I didn’t buy the newspaper, but if anyone spots a related story it might be interesting.

I would suspect it refers to AIDS in the S.African army.

I knew a former nurse, who had a friend at 1 Military Hospital in Pretoria. The nurse in Pretoria told her that the S.African army is riddled with AIDS. There have been other news stories hinting at a very high incidence of AIDS in the S.African army.

So, I always rejoice when I hear that our army is incompetant, or riddled with AIDS, or incompetant fat women are being recruited, because I always think: That army of ours could be used against us whites.

Similarly, when I hear our airforce planes are crashing into the ground, and the whites are leaving and blacks are flying – but their aptitudes are low – I similarly smile because I know, that maybe, just maybe, those planes could be used against us.

So for me, any news hinting at incompetance, ineffectiveness, inefficiency, lack of discipline, etc – makes me smile. I much prefer it knowing that maybe the “Military Wing” of the ANC could turn out to be a big flop. I sleep better at night when I hear things like that.

We have no enemies otherwise, and many of the enemies we have, might actually be an improvement over our current Government, so anything that weakens the S.African Defence Force makes me HAPPY!

Then I feel, the only real threat are the armed criminals running rampant! Jan]
