[Here is another email from a regular reader about the “Night of the Long Knives” idea. This reader espouses the view of not driving Blacks into the camp of becoming radicals.

That is an interesting point. One thing which I must make a point of though, is that I do NOT condone Whites engaging in violence and attacking or killing Blacks beforehand. The writer below, assumes that perhaps Whites will start attacking Blacks first. I do not advocate that, and never have.

In fact, it reminds me of a fascinating and heated discussion which took place between De La Rey (who became the most famous Boer General) and President Paul Kruger. Just prior to the Anglo-Boer war, De La Rey said something like this to Kruger: “You make war with your mouth. When you and the others have run away, I will still be out there fighting in the field.” De La Rey made it absolutely clear that the Boers must NOT invade the British colonies, and that if there was to be war, then the Boers must wait for the British to attack first.

De La Rey’s comments to Kruger went on to be quite prophetic. But I do like his take on the MORALITY of the issue… of not being the aggressor. And that is a position I share with De La Rey. I do not believe that we Whites must go around murdering Blacks, or attacking Blacks or inciting them to violence, or goading them with terrorism. If there is to be trouble between us, let us make sure that MORALLY they are in the wrong. (Even so they might pretend we attacked first…)… But I am a firm believer that we should not fire the first shots in any such situation. Of course, it would mean we’re caught more off-guard… but, later, the morality of the situation will indeed become a crucial part of the argument, and we must not be in the wrong.

Of course, I do not believe that there are many sympathetic blacks. Take the MDC in Zim for example. None of them stood by the farmers when Mugabe wiped out the farmers. I don’t believe we will have any black “friends of note”. Maybe the odd black here or there will warn us… if we are lucky… But I think even if many do not take part, I doubt they’d lift a finger to help us.

But then again, even if some refuse to take part… that could help. But is that possible? Won’t they in turn be killed by their own for being sympathetic to us? Jan]

Big danger. — I strongly believe that MANY sensible blacks would never agree to or take part in something like this. Afrikaaner history is full of trustworthy blacks coming to warn the whites.

IF the scenario worsens to this point and whites kill blacks indiscriminately then you have already destroyed your “silent- allies”. This is a standard war mongering tactic. Destroy the middle ground, sweep up the blood lust, force people into opposing camps. Anyone left in a situation like this is going to have to be VERY disciplined. Just look at Vietnam and Rhodesia for examples.

When good people use terrorist brutality, they then become the enemy that they are fighting against. One has to adopt a proper ethical warrior code, and one has to keep to it.

Very interesting “what-if” scenario that most people are completely unaware of.
