WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.Africa: The Suppressed PW Botha program

[I wonder why everyone was so concerned about what was said? Why not just let him have his say? Typical… in this country now… everyone just speaks in hushed tones. You know what, deep down, all the divisions, sentiments, etc are still there. This country has an unfinished war. Jan]

The SABC, e-tv and M-Net have declined to air Cliff Saunders’ interview with former State President PW Botha.

There have been accusations of censorship flung around, accusations that some will find amusing, given Saunders’ history as an apologist for the former government.

Others will think it more sinister than amusing, that the Groot Krokodil’s thoughts on affirmative action (a “form of apartheid”), Thabo Mbeki (he doesn’t agree with his policies), and on what he terms “so-called apartheid” policies, are denied a wider audience.According to Cliff Saunders: “Mr PW Botha was asked about the apartheid era when many whites regarded black people as inferior and even the term ‘sub-human’ was used. [Saunders] wanted to know from the former leader whether this was really the opinion held by whites at the time.”

SABC spokesman Lesego Mncwango said that the interview was shot “without our own guidelines and editorial control. We rejected it for the series on that basis”.

News24 columnist Jon Qwelane has hit back at the national broadcaster’s CEO, Dali Mpofu, saying: “Dali, my brother, the action taken by your organisation against Botha is vindictive. It is puerile, petty, tasteless and callous. It smacks of vengeance and is the decision of small men and women, and lacks magnanimity on the part of a victorious political party.”

According to the Sunday Times, M-Net spokeswoman Lani Lombard said: “[The interview] does not meet our criteria for broadcast and the interview is not at this stage suitable for our audience.”

The Sunday Times also quoted e-tv editor-in-chief Debora Patta as saying they had decided against broadcasting the interview because the production company, Thuthuka Productions, wanted too much for it, “and we would have had to edit out a lot of it”.
