[There is a massive backlog of vehicles going to Zimbabwe. Amazingly, it is said that customs officials on the S.African side are on a “go slow” ???? Very weird. Jan] A heavy traffic backup has developed on the N1 between Musina and Beitbridge in Limpopo, trapping thousands of travellers in their vehicles towards Zimbabwe. Our reporter on the scene says traffic stretching 12km is standstill between the two towns. According to earlier reports, chaos broke out at the border following allegations of a go-slow on the South African side of the border. Officials from Limpopo’s department of transport have however denied that there are problems at the border.
