[I forgot to mention that Blood River was also referred to as The Day of the Covenant. I noticed that the ANC was really irritated that White people did not come in large numbers to their celebrations. At Blood River itself, whites had their own ceremonies, and they completely ignored the Govt sponsored ceremonies. They also had an interesting story on the SABC showing in one small rural town, 50 White people putting up the old flag of S.Africa and having their own ceremonies. Seeing that old flag going up must give the ANC the creeps. But it goes to show that in their hearts, many Whites ignore the ANC. They can only push people so far… and if they try to push us further… they might be in for a surprise.
