A school chum of mine from Rhodesia wrote to me. Below are my comments.

Hi Jan,
Just what does one have to do to be described as a ‘terrorist’? In Spain this morning the terror group ETA warned that they had planted a bomb within a car park at a given airport. Of course, the powers that be set about finding the bomb, and then wanted to disarm it before it exploded.

This afternoon we have had reports of 2 explosions on a Spanish motorway (not far from the airport).

Now we know that ETA are terrorists.

But what of the terror that people like Mugabe strikes in the hearts of his own people. Yes, he ‘was’ a terrorist during the Rhodesian war, was imprisoned there for a while – but he never pulled the trigger. (In my mind those who give the orders are MORE guilty than those who carry out the orders as frequently those who do are doing so under serious duress and threat.)

But the world says that ETA is a terror unit, whilst Mugabe is a dictator of a sovreign state…

I am now well confused!

I agree with you one doesn™t have to be the one who pulls the trigger to be dangerous in fact, the most dangerous people are the ones who plan and orchestrate things.

Its just the PC world my friend when a scumbag from the Left comes to power, then he is suddenly respected. They try desperately “ everyone on the left “ to rewrite history.

I believe “ I read this some time back, that even Mr Tony Blair, was quite a dirtbag in his youth. A radical commie.

Nelson Mandela™s history is absolutely no different to that of Mugabe™s. And Mandela also made the remark one day œPeople used to call us terrorists (and I was thinking Duh! Yes you were!)

Mandela even acknowledges giving the œsign off on the church street bombing in Pretoria

But now Mandela is a saint. And until Mugabe ran all the Whites off the farms, many regarded him as a saint too

But my personal joy though, Robb, is when I see Mugabe™s definition of œDemocracy in his country. He is always claiming that he is defending democracy and then I watch his definition of it and I laugh my ass off

That is the biggest lie of all because his idea of œdemocracy is a complete joke and so was that term they used to use: œFreedom Fighter
I wonder how the Black Zimbabweans are œENJOYING their œFreedom which Mugabe gave them!?!? (Over 1/4 of the population of the country had fled)
