Australia bans another 127 Mugabe Cronies from Business
[Very nice stuff! The Australians rock. There are glimmers of hope in this world. All we need is to keep getting people to gang up on Mugabe. Maybe one day Mugabe and his stupid Zanu(PF) can be physically driven out of office!! Jan] The federal government has added 127 names to a list of people in the Zimbabwe government barred from doing business with Australian firms. The Reserve Bank issued a revised list of Zimbabwean ministers, headed by President Robert Mugabe, with whom Australian firms and individuals are banned from doing business. “At the direction of the Australian government, the Reserve Bank has expanded the list of individuals restricted by these financial sanctions to include new members of, and persons associated with, the government of Zimbabwe,” the bank said. “All transactions involving the transfer of funds or payments to, by the order of, or on behalf of such persons are prohibited.” Among the new people barred from doing business with Australia are several relatives of Mr Mugabe, spouses and children of ministers, Army general Constantine Chiwenga, Local Government Minister Ignatius Chombo, deputy Trade Minister Kenneth Manyonda and Finance Minister Herbert Murerwa.
