I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.African Minister of Defence"s Plane has minor mishap

Pretoria – A plane carrying Defence Minister Mosiuoa Lekota and three counterparts from the Southern African region was prevented from taking off after a mishap at a Goma airport in the Democratic Republic of Congo on Friday.

Lekota’s spokesperson Sam Mkhwanazi said a part of the plane’s undercarriage hit a fence as it was taxiing from a parking spot to the runway about 14:00.

“The accident was so minor that people were not even aware it had happened,” he said from Goma about three hours afterwards.

On board the aircraft were Lekota, his counterparts from the DRC and Lesotho, Namibia’s acting defence minister, and several officials.

The plane could not take off, and the ministers decided to have a meeting that they were having on board the craft elsewhere in Goma, Mkhwanazi said.

The ministers were on a visit to assess progress with integration, disarmament and demobilisation of the DRC’s armed forces.
