[Niiiiice!! The farmers rocked… They kicked some ass. I’m impressed. Jan] Eshowe – A suspected robber was killed and another seriously wounded in a shoot-out between farmers and three armed men on Monday morning, said KwaZulu-Natal police. Captain Tienkie van Vuuren said the three men overpowered two security guards at Kwambonambi supermarket near Eshowe about 09:00 on Monday. The robbers took the guards’ firearms and escaped in a vehicle. Farmers helped police to search for the suspects, who were spotted on a farm about three kilometres from the supermarket. A shoot-out ensued between them and a group of farmers. One man was shot dead, another was wounded, and a third man escaped. Police confiscated an AK-47 rifle and two pistols.
