S.Africa: Inequality remains – 40% unemployment

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.Africa: Inequality remains – 40% unemployment

[More rubbish thinking from the left! Equality! Equality! Bloody Equality! Its all rubbish of course. There has never been an “equal” society anywhere in the world since the dawn of human history… and there never can be. Human society, like that of certain types of animals is a pyramid. This is how nature and God’s logic works. If you try to change this, then you might as well tell the wind not to blow.

Such a structure (normally) is the natural result of the most talented people rising to the top. This is a very good thing, and it has great benefits for EVERYONE in that society. The Strong should lead the Weak. The Talented should direct the less-talented. The Brainless Left of course talk all this nonsense and rubbish about inequality. They should all be shot for talking such nonsense because they are laying the foundations for the TOTAL DESTRUCTION of a country when they meddle with this natural system. There are dozens of such ruined countries around the world where the Left came and killed every ounce of initiative and true leadership.

The real danger of this stupid “logic” is that one day it can be used to turn the Blacks against the Whites – the have-nots must steal from and kill the “haves”. Once they have done this, the have-nots will then die from even worse poverty than existed before! But… this will not stop them from actually trying such a stupid and desperate move.

Some years ago, when I started this site, I mentioned a news report which showed that South Africa’s unemployment was approximately 40%. These days one sees this figure being quoted more and more. Yet, how many of us remember the days of Apartheid when unemployment was a “horrendous” 10%!!! How many of you remember that? The White Govt back then was shocked that unemployment had increased to about 10%. Notice how between then, and now, it has gone from 10% to 40% and nobody seems to have said anything!!! Yet, I am willing to guarantee you, that the rise in unemployment in this country, in the past 20(43)+ years is due MOSTLY to ANC/SACP/COSATU action. If the Blacks had the brains to see clearly what the ANC/SACP/COSATU did for them, they would be dismembering our Cabinet Minister in the streets. Sadly, it is a case of the completely ignorant being led by pathalogical liars and murderers. Jan]

South Africa’s democracy is strong, but massive economic and social inequality still persist more than a decade after the end of apartheid, a study showed on Monday.

“South Africa’s democracy is remarkably stable and mature given where it has come from and the short period of time that has elapsed,” the independent think-tank Institute for Democracy in South Africa said in a report.

President Thabo Mbeki’s African National Congress (ANC) enjoys a huge majority having captured almost 70 percent of the vote in polls last year that were widely praised as an example for the rest of Africa.

‘Often a political price to pay for dissent’
The former liberation movement’s dominance has sparked fears among some opposition groups that too much power rests with the ruling party.

But the study said the multi-party system is safe and institutions and laws are sound, centred around a constitution continually tested by interest groups and rights activists.

“The new South African democracy is alive and kicking,” it said of Africa’s largest economy.

But despite the generally positive picture, South Africa suffers one of world’s widest gaps between rich and poor, and the bulk of wealth remains largely in white hands.

Eleven years since South Africa’s first all-race elections, unemployment is estimated at up to 40 percent.

And although the government is driving a programme to transfer wealth to the black majority, critics says black empowerment is enriching only a small elite.

“There is the ongoing problem around poverty and unemployment and what that does to the ability to participate actively as a citizen through social rights,” said Richard Calland, a political analyst at the institute.

“The fact is the rich are getting more out of democracy than the poor. It is an inequality of access to power.”

Other concerns included poor access to information and what some observers, including Nobel peace prize winner Desmond Tutu, say is the government’s low tolerance for opposing views.

“There is freedom of expression… but there is often a political price to pay for dissent,” Calland said.

Tutu received a sharp rebuke from Mbeki last year after he accused the ANC of stifling debate, while analysts say ANC members of parliament are loathe to question government policy.
