[This crime involves blacks. The two black men were mugged… and the survivor tells this amazing story. Jan] Kwamhlanga – A young man was shot dead when he had nothing that three muggers could steal. Vusi Sihlangu, 26, and his friend, Strike Mahlangu, 29, were attacked in Thembalethu, KwaMhlanga, north of Witbank about 22:30 on Sunday. Superintendent Malcolm Mokomene of Highveld police said: “The attackers held them up and gunpoint and told them to sit down.” Mahlangu was robbed of R100 in cash and a cellphone. Sihlangu was shot dead because he had nothing they could take from him. He was shot once in the chest and died immediately. No arrests have been made and police are still investigating. A 34-year-old woman in Elandsdoorn had a quarrel with her boyfriend when she refused to give him any of her child support grant last Thursday.
