After writing this piece about my co-worker and how blacks were starting to get to him… I received a few responses from South Africans and ex-Zimbabweans on my list… saying that they too were finding themselves becoming more racist over time.

My personal belief has always been, that given time, most Whites, especially those living in Africa, will become racist. I believe it is a natural, logical process which comes from the differences and frustrations between ourselves and them. Their standards, and their insane outlook on life will drive us into hating them.

It has often been observed that whites who come to Africa to live here become much more racist (sometimes they undergo a 180 degree change in perception of blacks which can be quite shocking)… The reason is simple: When one lives afar, in a Western nation, one may look on black poverty with sympathy, etc. One may feel these people really got the raw end of the deal. But when you actually live in Africa and see what they do and how they do it and you observe how they create their own problems, one then starts to lose sympathy for these people and one realises that they are getting what they deserve… In fact… they really deserve even worse things actually… but others (e.g. UN) save them from themselves… AND this causes them to never LEARN.

I can’t confirm that all Whites will become racist… but there is a good portion who do. The “racist” attitude of Whites in Africa is no accident. It is the result of living close to these people for centuries and watching their behaviour… which leads us to having so little sympathy for them, because we have concluded that they are their own worst enemies… and what they really need… is not so much sympathy as a good solid kick in the head.

Anyhow… Like I say… a few people wrote to me to confirm that they were also finding themselves developing a harder attitude towards blacks as time goes by.

There are times when these clashes become quite serious. One area for example, where blacks and whites just NEVER see eye to eye is on CRIME. Whites always insist on punishment and even hanging people if need be, whereas blacks want to only have FORGIVENESS… One must question why blacks believe in forgiveness to other blacks. Is it because they believe crime is not a serious issue? Or is it that they only want blacks forgiven IF THEY STOLE FROM WHITES? Consider that blacks often will beat or mutilate criminals or rapists… But they don’t want the same thing done to those who steal from whites? Does this mean that deep down… blacks admire/laud those who steal from us? Does it mean, deep down, there is so much hatred for us… that they see criminals who steal from us as Robin Hoods? (I believe so).

Anyhow… Deep down… Even blacks know that our fake peace is… a fake…

I am curious to see how Whites and Blacks continue to interact in the years ahead. I believe, based on past experience, that more disillusionment with black rule will set in as the years go by.

Racial issues in South Africa may yet be far from over.
