At my work I’ve been watching from the sidelines, an interesting racial interaction. The guys don’t talk politics… but in recent weeks some racial strain has been brewing between a black guy and a white guy.

Now the white guy is not one of my closest friends… so I’m not just taking his side because he is white. Actually, he is a young guy, a fun guy, who is extremely friendly with EVERYONE. He teases and jokes with everyone… is a funny, humorous guy, etc… And he’s never once shown me any signs of “racism”… Indeed, he admitted to us some intimate stuff which confirms to me, undeniably that the man doesn’t have one racist cell in his body. He’s very much a live-and-let-live kinda guy. He associates with blacks, includes them in his fun, naturally, etc… I’ve known him for some years, and this guy is one of those whites who will never have an argument with a black guy for racial or political reasons… in fact.. he has no political issues that would cause him to fight with blacks because he does not take politics seriously…

Once… he and I had a long political discussion… and I told him of my extreme right wing and racist views and WHY. I told him that when I was younger, I was also a live-and-let-live kinda guy… and I didn’t have an issue with blacks… But… I had changed. I could see why my parents, grandparents, etc had drawn the conclusions about blacks that they had.

He listened, but he really did not show any great interest in my sort of thinking. He said he hoped that racial clashes, etc would never come. He really was not interested in my politics or in my way of thinking. He did not see a particular reason for whites to want their own country, etc.

But I’ve been watching… as the blacks rub my co-worker up… More and more… over these last few months…

It started… with a land claim against his and other people’s properties near Pretoria. That really hurt him. His little plot was his life and he had so many plans for what he wanted to do on it… And then the Land Claim came and sent him into a tail-spin of depression… Now he accepts… that he will lose his land… it will take some years… but he is powerless against our Govt… And he shrugs his shoulders and accepts his fate and that he can do nothing.

Then the next thing that ticked him off… was when he started hearing about the gun control. He loves weapons… is a sporty kinda guy… and that irritated him highly.

But the most recent episode was interesting… A young black guy at our work started talking about Apartheid… and the past. Now this guy is so young that he was probably a baby when whites ruled… So he has no personal knowledge of what those times were like. It started with this black guy picking on another white guy… trying to dredge up the past… First he picked on one white guy… then later, he had a racial clash with my co-worker… over music… (of all things!)

It has been interesting watching this black guy… trying to turn everything into a case of RACISM. My co-worker played some music on his PC… It wasn’t my taste… But the black guy didn’t like the music… So the white guy said: “Well, you guys voted for a democracy… so let’s vote on my music.” So the guys voted… Then the black guy said: “Yeah, but you white guys all stick together… so the vote is meaningless…” – insinuating that the voting over the music was racism on their part… And so it continued… The black guy trying to look for racism or inventing it in his mind whenever he could.

But the worst was when he went and said to my co-worker… he is RACIST!! That sent my live-and-let-live Co-worker over the edge… He said *THIS* is CR*P!! He’s never been racist in his life (I can firmly agree)… and if someone starts accusing him of something he knows he is *NOT*… it totally gets his back up.

My co-worker flipped… And since then… we have a serious office row… where my co-worker has said, he will stand his ground… even if they fire him. But he will not let this black guy get away with his nonsense any more… He has already started taking this up with management (who are also non-white).

What strikes me as interesting about this whole episode… is how my co-worker, who never once, showed the slightest disrespect for blacks, and who treats them 100% the way he does everyone else… is slowly being turned into a guy like me… and its blacks who are doing it to him!!!

It not me, with my racist talk, who is turning him into a racist. It is BLACKS who are turning him into a racist!!!

And its much like what I went through over the years. I never wanted to fight with blacks or bad mouth them JUST BECAUSE MY DAD SAID SO. And I always regarded my brother as the worst racist. But now… I’m every bit as racist as my dad and my brother… maybe even becoming worse in some respects. Yet… I never was like this… and never intended becoming like this. But I can see how blacks can rub you up, and push you around, and irritate you, until you get to the point where you say: BUGGER YOU!! I’m going to stand up for myself and YOU GO TO HELL!!!

My co-worker is there… And I believe… in time… many more whites, who had no intention and desire of becoming racist… will end up there… Its a natural progression… And blacks… help it along… BY ACCUSING US OF THINGS THAT WE NEVER WERE.

Its the things blacks do to us… who make us what we become.

In my book, Government by Deception, I said, I am sick and tired of blacks accusing us of CRIMES WE NEVER COMMITTED. That is too much for me. That was the point at which *I* FLIPPED OUT… just like my co-worker is now flipping out over a black accusing him of racism, when we all know, he’s the least “racist” white person you can ever get.

I said to my co-worker, I’m making my own stand… and I’m glad to see that he too has drawn his own line in the sand… from where he will make his stand.

Bit by bit… the blacks are forcing us to stand our ground…
More will join us later… It may take a long time… but it will happen.

I believe… with time… we whites in South Africa will become more racist than we ever were in the past. You wait and see.
