Johannesburg – Mpumalanga police were trying to identify a man on Wednesday who was burnt to death on the side of a road at Van Dyks Drift near Middelburg on Tuesday afternoon. Police spokesperson Captain Malculm Mokomene said a farmer was driving home when he noticed something on fire. He went to investigate and found the man, who was already dead, burning. Mokomene said the man had not been identified. The body was taking to the Middelburg government mortuary. Police are investigating. Edited by Tisha Steyn Source: News24.Com |
