Namibia: Girl held hostage for five years

A 17-year-old girl has been rescued after five years of allegedly being held against her will. The Namibian Police reported yesterday that the girl was abducted as a 12 year old in 1999 and held by Ephraim Elias (52) on the Farm Beesgrond in the Kavango Region. During that period the victim allegedly had two children with the suspect. Elias appeared in the Rundu Magistrate’s Court on Monday on rape and abduction charges Source: The Namibian |
