I have received a note of threats against the German volunteers of African Crisis. It seems the fact that the activity on the German forum was continuing was causing them to intimidate these people. One lady had a cyber attack from a certain IP address in South Africa. It appears to me, that shutting down the forums is definitely the thing I am going to have to do on this site. I wonder perhaps, if their reason is that emails are easier to monitor than forum posts? By shutting down the forums, people then rather use email and email is simple to track through keywords and names, via all servers? I wonder if they are trying to drive all traffic through email because it is less secure? Apparently the intimidation against one German included and showed knowledge of his email address (I hide all email addresses on my forums – you can’t see them, even in the HTML). Its this PERSONAL sort of intimidation which I have been experiencing is now being experienced by other people. Again… please tell your friends, to tell their friends… this website is under a cyber attack… they want it shut down. It appears to me… the forums and our free speech has got to go. |
