Pietermaritzburg – A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a police inspector in May, KwaZulu-Natal Midlands police said on Thursday. Inspector Les Botha said the man allegedly killed Inspector Noel Landsberg at his home in Eastwood, Pietermaritzburg about 19:00 on May 25. Landsberg, 36, was a member of the police unit against organised crime in Pietermaritzburg. It was possible that more people would be arrested in connection with the murder. The arrested man is expected to appear in the Pietermaritzburg magistrate’s court on Thursday, Botha said. Source: News24.Com |
