I think the Civil War in Zimbabwe is coming. Its still a way off, but its coming. I can’t wait… and once it gets going, I hope I can help in some way.
I was pretty impressed by these photos from eTV News showing the MDC in action in Harare. It was a very short piece but it seems as if Mugabe really was facing some determined black opposition. He still shut them down – but they were making a mess and causing a lot of chaos.
It is to me as if they’re not as afraid of Mugabe any more, and short of killing them all… Mugabe is at a loss of what to do. Mugabe smashed their houses… and still its not stopped them. Next stop: Pull out the machine-guns and start mowing them down in the streets… BUT… the anger in that country is so great that I don’t think that will stop them either. It may scare them for a while, while they rustle up their own weapons.
Is Mugabe willing to fight to the end, or will he negotiate with them at some point? He’s vowed to fight to the finish. I think with ANC backing he will. I’m still quite convinced that Mugabe will fight and the S.African Army will one day still rush into Zimbabwe and start machine-gunning down MDC supporters. I still believe this can happen. Don’t be surprised to hear that S.African armoured columns are dashing into Zimbabwe.
What would be nice would be of course to arm the MDC. One should dash off and buy some nice anti-armour and anti-aircraft weaponry for them. A few anti-air weapons (a handful really) would be enough to put the Zimbabwe Air Force out of action and keep them at bay… and some infantry anti-armour weapons would be of use against Mugabe’s armour and against the South African Army. I just want to see them sock it to Mugabe and the ANC (when the ANC side with Mugabe). All the black Govts will side with Mugabe – that’s my prediction.
The MDC spokesman explained that the Police tried to shut down their protest.

On the left is Morgan Tsvangirai in action. As I said, people who have met him personally and spoke to him confirm he is a good guy. It seems he is slowly developing teeth. I also heard a few other things which I have been asked not to reveal – but the MDC appears to be more determined than I gave them credit for.
