S.Africa: Communist Trade Union wants more airport strikes

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.Africa: Communist Trade Union wants more airport strikes

[Dr Jordaan told me years ago that to understand the workings of the South African communist party, you must envisage it as 3 parts: The South African Communist Party is the BRAIN. They do all the THINKING & planning. The ANC is the MOUTH – they do all the talking. COSATU (Congress of South African Trade Unions), are the HANDS – they do the WORK.

Here you see COSATU pushing for more airport strikes. This is an example of why I believe the communists try to damage any businesses they can’t take over/control/influence by other means.

Forget about all the “workers issues”. These bastard trade unions in South Africa always invent/think-up new excuses and bogus reasons for having strikes and causing business problems. Its a form of blackmail. They keep on with strikes to cripple a business until it just gives in to their unreasonable pie-in-the-sky demands.

They’ve been doing this since the 1980’s. I once consulted to a pharmaceutical company in Johannesburg where communist trade union activity never stopped. I remember walking to work and seeing blood on the pavement from where they chopped some blacks who did not want to go along with their communist rubbish schemes. I had the opportunity to work on a floor where they negotiated with the scum. It was a sight to see how rude, arrogant and MILITANT the buggers were. To them, this is war! To them, talk and negotiation is just another form of warfare.

Well, I was at Johannesburg airport at the end of October 2003 and this strike was on at the time (in spite of what they say below)

The pittance COSATU put into the fund for the workers who are not getting pay is a joke. As almost always happens, these workers are pawns and generally they end up being the main losers. Jan]

The Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) has prepared a series of protest actions to support baggage handlers who have been on strike over a wage dispute for the past two months, Cosatu secretary general Zwelinzima Vavi said on Thursday.

“We must not let Equity Aviation [the employer] win this battle,” he told reporters in Johannesburg.

“Clearly Equity Aviation has touched the raw nerve of the federation [Cosatu] and they must live up to that.”

About 1 000 members of the South African Trade and Allied Workers Union (Satawu) have been on strike since December 18 2003, protesting working hours and salary increases.

Some of the action Cosatu has lined up includes lunch-hour pickets and mass demonstrations from the first week of March.

All Cosatu members should refuse to touch all goods, including post, sent to Equity Aviation on March 6, if the company still refused to budge, Vavi said.

Cosatu has a set up a trust fund for workers impoverished by the strike. Cosatu has given R30 000 to the fund. — Sapa
