S.Africa: Israel"s fence is illegal

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.Africa: Israel"s fence is illegal

[This article was printed in the Jerusalem Post. Of course, the South African Government is composed of terrorists (sorry, I can’t call them “former terrorists” because I believe them to still be behind terrorism in the form of farm murders and crime), so it should not surprise us that they side with the Palestinian terrorists. The Israelis have said the South African government is anti-Semitic and its true. I find the similarities between Israel’s situation and South Africa’s situation interesting. The terrorists who are against Israel use similar language. They call Israel an Apartheid state. I laughed the other day when I saw the Palestinians holding a “day of rage”. We had plenty of that too. Jan]

South Africa sent its deputy foreign minister to back the Palestinian case at the world court, arguing that the security fence was a bid to annex territory in the West Bank.

“It is not a security wall. It is a wall to enforce the occupation,” lawmaker Aziz Pahad told the Court.

Pahad asked the Court to rule that the security fence violated international law. In 1971, the World Court ruled that apartheid South Africa’s occupation of Namibia was illegal.

Pahad said that the 1971 ruling, which led to international sanctions against the National Party-led Apartheid government, contributed to the downfall of Apartheid in 1994.

“South Africa which was once a subject of this court is in the midst celebrating 10 years of our democracy. After centuries of division and conflict, South Africans found the political will to build a new democratic society,” Pahad said.

“The fact that this court had the courage to pronounce on the legal consequences on the continued presence of South Africa in Namibia contributed to the achievement of democracy,” he added.

The African National Congress (ANC), which came to power in South Africa at the end of white rule, was closely allied with the Palestinian Liberation Organization during decades of struggle against Apartheid rule.

Pahad told the court that it is unlikely that the barrier is temporary as Israel is spending about $2 billion on its construction.

In its written arguments, Israel claimed the court has no authority over the matter. It says the dispute should be resolved through negotiations, and that taking the matter to court will undermine the internationally backed road map peace plan.

Israel also says the barrier is a response to Palestinian violence, pointing to Sunday’s suicide bombing in Jerusalem, which killed eight people, as proof of the need for the structure.
