I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Uganda: Bloody raids claim 20 lives
Kampala – Fighting in northern Uganda has left at least 11 farmers and nine rebels dead in three days of raids by government troops and the Lord’s Resistance Army, officials said on Friday.
Rebels ambushed a group of farmers while they picked cotton and harvested food in Lira, district chairperson Franco Ojur said.
“That is my home village and 11 people were killed, they included ten adults and one child,” Ojur said of Wednesday’s attack. “These rebels attacked from a nearby forest and the army should know that they have permanent places from where they attack people.”
Second Lieutenant Chris Magezi, an area military spokesperson, confirmed Ojur’s account, but said he knew of only nine dead.
‘These rebels attacked from a nearby forest’
The shadowy rebel group has little contact with the outside world and could not be contacted for comment. The Lord’s Resistance Army has fought to overthrow President Yoweri Museveni for 17 years, but is best known for kidnapping thousands of children for use as soldiers or sex slaves.
Magezi said government troops had success on Thursday night against the rebels when they attacked a base in Muchwini, 490km north of Kampala, where they killed six rebel fighters and freed nine kidnapped civilians. He said another operation in Opara, 300km north of Kampala, had left three rebels dead and liberated 20 civilians.
Fighting inside Uganda has picked up in recent years since Sudan agreed to allow Ugandan troops to enter that country in pursuit of the rebels. Ugandan officials have said they believe the rebels are desperate and that most rebel raids are mostly banditry to obtain food and supplies. – Sapa-AP
