There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.Africa: FF(43)+ Calls for an end to Affirmative Action

[Note. I support this. Jan]

Pretoria – The Freedom Front Plus called on the government on Tuesday to stop subjecting white matriculants to affirmative action when they applied for their first jobs.

Today’s school leavers have had equal access to the education system for the past 12 years, and it would be unfair to whites to continue taking race into account when considering job applications, says the party.

This year’s white matrics had just entered the education system when schools were opened to children of other races in 1992, FF Plus MP Corne Mulder said in a statement.

Over the same period, the number of indigent white pupils had increased dramatically, partly because many of their parents lost jobs to affirmative action.

“Under these circumstances, to continue applying race as a selection criteria to new labour market entrants is unfair and leads to racial polarisation,” Mulder said.

He warned the government to refrain from replacing the “previously disadvantaged” with a new group of disadvantaged South Africans.

‘Undisguised racial discrimination’

“The manner in which affirmative action is being applied is leading to undisguised racial discrimination.”

The party also called on the government to announce a cut-off point for affirmative action.

If the government’s intentions with affirmative action were truly to correct wrongs of the past, it was obvious that the process had to come to an end at some point, Mulder said.

“If the government is not prepared to declare a deadline, nobody could be blamed for deducing that it is merely busy discriminating indefinitely against whites.”

Labour denies equal opportunity

Labour Ministry spokesman Snuki Zikalala denied affirmative action, dubbed employment equity by the government, was aimed at discriminating against any group.

It did not really apply to new market entrants, except in cases were a company’s racial demographics were skewed to the extent that it could not afford to employ any more whites, he said.

The process was instead aimed at ensuring that black people were appropriately skilled and occupied senior positions.

Zikalala denied, however, that today’s school leavers had had equal opportunities, saying black pupils still mostly lived in shacks in conditions of poverty.

He also rejected the call for a cut-off date for affirmative action.

The process would only be reviewed once the government was satisfied that all racial imbalances had been addressed and South Africa was fully transformed, Zikalala said.
