S.Africa: Gold touches 7 year best

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.Africa: Gold touches 7 year best

[Note. Gold is always good news for South Africa – even though the production and its impact is not what it used to be. I also wonder how much of this is due to the attacks on the USA and the problems there every since this “war on terror” began. Jan]

Johannesburg – The US dollar gold price touched its best level since March 1996 on Monday as the euro reached a lifetime best against the US dollar.

At 12:05 Monday gold was quoted at US$414.25 an ounce – up $2.35/oz from the previous close after touching a seven-year high of $414.63/oz early in the day.

During the morning, the euro touched a lifetime best of $1.2482 and at 1205 the unit was quoted at $1.2481, up $0.0047 from the previous close.

“Gold remains firm after Japanese traders carried out some safe-haven positioning on Friday. With the Tokyo Commodity Exchange or Tocom closed for the rest of the week, liquidity has been an issue and a weaker US dollar is keeping gold supported,” TheBullionDesk.com trader James Moore said in a note on Monday.

Resistance under $415/oz is expected to keep gold capped until the New Year has passed but Commodity Exchange or Comex speculative players may take advantage of the thin volume conditions to push the bullion market higher, Moore added.
