S.Africa: Proposed Land Tax on Farm land (communism!)

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.Africa: Proposed Land Tax on Farm land (communism!)

[Note. It doesn’t get more communist than this – as we head into more forms of taxation aimed at the “wealthy”. Making the rich poor, never made the poor rich – and Zimbabwe bears that out completely. Indeed, the rich are often rich for good reason – because most of them earned it. This is especially true of the farming community.

Interestingly, while the Rand has strengthened (therefore bringing the cost of imported goods down – including oil from the Middle East) – it is worth noting that our government brought the price of petrol (gasoline) DOWN but put the price of diesel (obviously used by industry and farmers) UP!!! Also, for some mysterious reason, many farmers have not had their diesel deliveries yet and hence, are battling to plant. This, combined with genuinely bad rains (as opposed to political claims of such in Zimbabwe), could combine to make this quite a dreadful year for farmers in South Africa – the last remaining breadbasket of Africa. Zimbabwe, of course, promises to reach new lows.

This press Release from TAU (Transvaal Agricultural Union), the largest farming organisation in South Africa, shows how, quietly, commercial farmers battle against a hypocritical government that is out to destroy them – by fair or foul means. Jan]

LAND TAX ON AGRICULTURAL LAND NOT PRACTICAL: FINDING IN REITZ

The judgement in the court case against the municipality of Reitz only
strengthens TAU SA’s viewpoint that taxes on agricultural land are
impractical and only another form of wealth-tax. A nearly identical
result was obtained by TAU SA against the Eastern Gauteng Serves Council
in September 2002 by members of TAU SA.

We hope that government will realize with this result that agriculture
will not allow the taxing of agricultural land by municipalities to make
up financial deficits caused by poor financial decisions as well as even
poorer financial management by municipalities.

TAU SA wishes to congratulate the farming community of Reitz but would
simultaneously caution them to be firm with the process of getting their
money, as awarded by judgement. It is our experience that stalling and
“under-hand” tactics will be part of government’s (municipality’s) plans
to avoid complying with their own laws. TAU SA’s members have been waiting
for more than a year for the judgement in costs to be honored.
