WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.Africa: AIDS very low in the Banking sector

[Note. This is from an internal survey conducted by major banks in SA regarding the prevalence of AIDS among their employees. Firstly, it was voluntary, and secondly, I am sure that banks are not representative of the population since most banks still have large numbers of whites on their staff. I would suspect though, one could read something “racial” into these statistics because it might lend credence to the idea that the incidence of AIDS among non-blacks is much lower. That’s my take on it at least. Jan]

BANKS™ HIV AIDS PREVALENCE SURVEY RESULTS
As part of World AIDS day next Monday, the Banking Council has announced that a survey amongst employees of South Africa™s four major banks has revealed an HIV prevalence rate of 3.4%.

The survey, conducted between June and September this year, tested 29 490 employees in ABSA, FirstRand, Nedbank and Standard Bank. It is believed to be one of the biggest HIV-prevalence surveys amongst a target group consisting mainly of white-collar workers.

The major banking unions, SASBO and IBSA, gave their full support to the survey as did the banking industry™s medical schemes, Bankmed and Nedmed, which together cover approximately 72 500 employees.

HIV Management Solutions of the Wits Health Consortium conducted the prevalence survey using a nationwide sample to give representative data amongst all levels of employees.

HIV prevalence surveys are considered to be prudent risk management and are one of the key indicators stipulated by the Global Reporting Initiative™s (GRI) HIV reporting standards.

The banks will use the data to put in place measures to reduce the risks posed by HIV/AIDS and to keep those who are HIV-positive healthy and productive as long as possible. It will also allow them to target their education and support programmes to reduce prejudice against people with HIV and to encourage HIV-negative people to stay that way.

Most bank employees currently have access to antiretroviral drugs via their medical schemes. They also have access to wellness programmes that promote healthy living in order to delay the onset of AIDS-related illnesses. In addition, all the banking groups participating in the survey have been running HIV/AIDS awareness programmes.

Participants were guaranteed complete anonymity and took part on a voluntary basis.
