I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Man has 140 condoms of cocaine in his stomach
He’d been preparing months in advance: grapes, ice cubes and even sausages had been shovelled whole down his throat to get his insides ready.
But greed foiled his meticulous planning, and 140 cocaine-filled condoms later, he found himself sitting on a special toilet having his bowel movements monitored by police.
The 24-year-old Tanzanian surprised SA Police Service narcotics detectives when he relieved himself of 140 “bullets” of cocaine containing about 800 grams of the drug worth more than R200 000.
‘He certainly tried to put in as many as he could’
The 140 “bullets” constitute the largest number found on one individual coming into South Africa, police spokesperson Superintendent Eugene Opperman said on Sunday.
“We usually get people with about 90 or so, but although the SA Narcotics Bureau haven’t confirmed this, they think it is the largest case we have had.
“He certainly tried to put in as many as he could,” Opperman said.
The man was arrested after being identified by police when he arrived in South Africa from Dubai on Friday morning.
“We monitor certain flights and have experts working at identifying suspects, Opperman said.
“They saw this guy and, also working on certain information available to them, they searched him,” he said.
Police found no evidence of drugs in the man’s luggage, but after taking an x-ray, they were shocked to see that the man’s stomach was bulging with the largest number of bullets they had encountered in one person.
“He was taken to a special cell where they have a special toilet, where he was monitored.
“The toilet is elevated and everything falls through into a specially designed bucket, and we have the unpleasant task of sifting through that for our evidence,” Opperman explained.
He pointed out though that if one of the condoms had ruptured, the man would have died of a severe overdose of the drug.
“He is quite relieved still to be alive and without his dangerous consignment. If anything had gone wrong with any one of the ‘bullets’ containing the drug, he would have immediately died of a severe overdose,” Opperman said.
He explained that drug smugglers like this man usually go through a rigorous schedule to get themselves and their insides used to the number of cocaine-filed condoms they had to swallow.
“They all go through special training for this.
“First they start with grapes, swallowing them hole, and then the items get bigger – and they even practise with swallowing whole sausages. This is all meant to get their throats and stomachs accustomed to the task,” Opperman said.
The man’s first appearance in the Kempton Park magistrate’s court would depend on his health, because the large number of “bullets” had stretched his stomach considerably, he added.
[The following story is part of the story of how South Africa has become a drug haven. Recently, I experienced some shocking revelations as I discovered to my horror how many of my co-workers and close friends were addicted to hard drugs like cocaine, LSD and Magic Mushrooms. This may not be news to Americans, but it means we have “caught up” with and maybe even surpassed some of the rest of the world in the use of these things.
A friend of mine, who once had been my best friend, revealed to me, that he had been on cocaine for 5 years. He recently left his wife and daughter and was happy about it. His whole mindset had changed. When I first got to know him he was so religious he was doing Bible quizzes during his lunch hour. Now he says he lost faith in God, and never wants to hear the word “God” mentioned in his presence.
I tried to talk him out of cocaine. But it is a complete waste of time. Cocaine makes people confident and arrogant and they don’t listen to you because, after all, you know nothing. I have watched co-workers with heavy drug habits as they seem to slowly lose their sense of reality of what is important in life. To them, everything in life is a joke and partying is all that matters. All they want to do is party and have no thought for responsibility or the people they hurt. To them, nothing is serious. I spoke to a Doctor about them but saw for myself that there is nothing one can do.
They do not even want to admit that they are addicted because, in their minds, they are in TOTAL CONTROL. They assured me, no matter how heavy their drug use, that they are NOT addicted because “they know when to stop”. Addiction, so I was told, is something that happens to stupid young kids who don’t “know how to use drugs”. So stupid young kids get addicted. But these older, more experienced folk… nah… they can’t be addicted… they’re too mature… too in control… too clever… THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO EXCEPT WATCH THEM DESTROY THEIR LIVES.
Ravers and other drug users in South Africa have the “clever” (stupid actually) attitude that you must “Say Know to Drugs” (play on the words: “Say No to Drugs”). So these “KNOW-alls” arrogantly study the drugs and reckon that drugs are SAFE because they “know” their drugs… and their side effects, etc… This false sense of security, and this personal arrogance combined with lots of wishful thinking on their part is a sure recipe for their own personal destruction.
Personally, I would like to see drug dealers and drug smugglers end their careers swinging on the end of a rope – these drugs are too evil – too irresistable. Once these people are in their clutches they can’t get away. Jan]
