[Humour] What is Capitalism?
I got this from the Flame Lily Foundation Newsletter – which is an organisation run by ex-Rhodesians. I thought it was hillarious.
Traditional Capitalism:
You have two cows.
You sell one and buy a bull.
Your herd multiplies, and the economy grows.
You sell them and retire on the income.
American Corporation:
You have two cows.
You sell one, and force the other to produce the milk of four cows.
You are surprised when the cow drops dead.
South African Corporation:
You have two cows.
You go on strike because you want three cows.
Zimbabwean Corporation:
You have two cows.
Settlers take over your farm, eat both cows and wait for the international community to supply them with two more cows.
British Corporation:
You have two cows.
Both are mad.
