Zimbabwe Cancels Ian Smith"s Citizenship

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Zimbabwe Cancels Ian Smith"s Citizenship

ZIMBABWE’S government has revoked the citizenship of the last white leader of colonial Rhodesia, Ian Smith, the former colonial prime minister said on Wednesday. “I got a message from the registry office where I was supposed to renew my passport and they told me my citizenship has been cancelled,” said Smith (83) Smith said he was informed of the cancellation on Tuesday by an official when he went to the country’s passport office trying to renew his travel document. No official confirmation could be immediately obtained from government, but most whites who have lost their Zimbabwean citizenship retain British nationality and are granted permanent residency. Asked why he thought his citizenship has been withdrawn, Smith said “I don’t know, maybe because I criticise the government” of President Robert Mugabe. He said he would try to take legal action over the matter. “The one thing I can do is to take them to court because they are in the wrong,” he said. As the last prime minister of Rhodesia, Smith in November 1965 made a unilateral declaration of independence (UDI) from Britain, and maintained white minority rule for 14 years. His regime was brought down by a bitter guerrilla war and by international pressure. Zimbabwe became independent in April 1980, with the current President Mugabe then serving as prime minister. – AFP
