Arming Blacks in Zimbabwe

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

SubTitle: To Overthrow Mugabe

Before launching into my story, I would like to urge Readers of this to spread this
as far and wide as possible because this is a story that has never been told, and is
of the utmost importance in understanding the situation in Zimbabwe. This is the
result of my own investigation. This is also a story of how gun control enables
dictators to do anything they want.

Ever since the problems in Zimbabwe started in 2000, people have been asking “When
will people rise up against Mugabe?” In fact, the first thought in my mind back
then was that the blacks should be armed. In 2000, I wrote to a friend of mine in
the USA, Jeff Nyquist, because he knows someone in the US Congress. I said to Jeff
that if the USA wanted to do something really good, it should arm the blacks in
Zimbabwe now because the majority were opposed to Mugabe, and they would throw him
out. Everyone I knew, who was familiar with the situation there, said that he would
just cheat at future elections and the only way to get rid of him was through a mass
uprising. What gave me hope at the time was when some farm workers actually fought off
the “War Veterans”. But then Mugabe sent in armed troops in civilian clothes alongside
the “War Veterans” and that stopped the black farm workers from fighting back.

When the new opposition in Zimbabwe, the MDC [Movement for Democratic Change] rose in
prominence, they sent people to South Africa to state their case here. White people who
attended those meetings immediately asked “Why don’t you people fight?” The MDC said it
was aiming for peaceful change and it did not want to engage in war. That has been the
MDC’s stance ever since.

Often when I write articles about Zimbabwe, Americans write and ask why people aren’t
fighting.

Well, I have finally managed to dig out some facts which I think will surprise everyone.
It is the untold story of how many black Zimbabweans really feel. Here is how it started.

Some weeks ago I was contacted by a white Zimbabwean who was on business in South Africa.
This person is heavily involved with the Commercial Farmers there. We met and had a long
chat. We talked about the situation up there. As we talked more and more, he began to relax
and to tell me things which were new to me. I was to discover, during the next couple of
weeks that all Zimbabweans talk very diplomatically. You will not see a great show of
frustration among them. It is not their nature to throw their toys out of the cot at first.
This is the result of years of strong rule by Mugabe. Everyone is afraid of Mugabe’s spies
and they do not trust people easily. They will talk about what is going on up there, and
will never get worked up and call for his overthrow. They all act in a very civilised
manner, and they are all very diplomatic about things. But, when they start trusting you,
they start talking in a very different way. As we talked, the white Zimbabwean told me
about his frustrations with the MDC. He told me that he had had contact with them, and had
come to believe that they were a fake opposition to Mugabe. Morgan Tsvangirai, he said,
was genuine, but he was surrounded by a lot of ex-ZANU(PF) people. He believed these were
Mugabe’s agents who were sent to help direct the MDC along a path which would be detrimental
to them. He now held the MDC in utter contempt. We know from the various elections and polls
that the MDC has the support of about 65-70% of the people. One can then infer that Mugabe
must have the support of 30% of the population. He told me he was sure that the
actual support was even less. Before he left, he introduced me to some black ex-Zimbabweans
now living in South Africa.

I met with Jay Jay Sibanda, the leader of the Concerned Foreign Based Zimbabwean Nationals.
We got along well. We then had several more meetings because I wanted to help them raise funds.
Each time we met, he introduced me to more and more black Zimbabweans. As their trust of me
grew, they began telling me things. Just like the white Zimbabwean, they were very diplomatic
about the problems in Zimbabwe. Most of them have starving families up there, and they spend
most of their pay on food which they buy in South Africa and ship to Zimbabwe. They were
telling me how they want to raise an awareness of the Zimbabwean problems here in South Africa.
One thing I discovered was that the black Zimbabeans were well educated. It is probably Mugabe’s
only claim to fame. He probably produced the most literate black society in Africa. Our
discussions were always friendly.

Then one day, I can’t remember how our conversation led to it, but one of them said that in
reality he didn’t want to engage in protests and rallies against Mugabe – he would have
preferred to get a rifle and fight the bastard! That piqued my curiosity because that is
something I had been wondering about for a long time. It took me some time, but I did some
investigative journalism and this is what I discovered. Note however, that I have to protect
the identities of these people because their lives will be at risk.

All the Zimbabweans told me that there is no chance for an uprising inside Zimbabwe itself
because the people are not armed, and Mugabe has a water-tight control on everything. He has
ensured that the army and civil service are loyal to him by giving them huge pay increases.
He has an extensive CIO (Central Intelligence Organisation) network. This is his “KGB”. They
have spies everywhere. Mugabe has a steel grip on the country. They explained that the only
resistance which could ever occur inside the country was passive resistance. The blacks told
me that the chance of an uprising inside the country was very small.

They told me that Mugabe had handed out rifles to many of the “War Vets”, but had later realised
that these could be used against him. So he began a major campaign to encourage them to hand
the rifles back. Thus, Mugabe is holding all the aces inside Zimbabwe.

I learned that some of the black Zimbabweans who had fled, had been either Human
Rights activists or MDC supporters/activists. One Human Rights Activist told me how he had to
flee Zimbabwe because things just got too hot for him. The CIO was on to him and making life
very difficult for him. So he had to flee, leaving his wife and family behind. Now he was living
in Johannesburg, and was unemployed.

The Zimbabweans here are clearly unhappy. But there is nowhere else for them to go.

They told me, that a lot of their people back home were actually hoping that those who had fled
would attempt to attack Mugabe from outside the country and thereby light the spark which can
produce a Civil War which can overthrow him.

The black men who were telling me these things were all in their late 20’s and early 30’s and
were very fit. Physically they are military material. And mentally, they were more motivated
than I could believe. Underneath all that civility and diplomacy, was a lot of pent-up
frustration. There was a deep desire to wipe Mugabe and his party off the face of the Earth.
They told me of a meeting which had been held in Germiston, South Africa, which was attended
by several hundred black Zimbabweans and one journalist from a South African newspaper. This
meeting took place in late 2001. At one point, the South African journalist asked the
Zimbabweans what they thought was the solution to the country’s problems? ALL the Zimbabweans
then made as if they were holding rifles. This, was what they believed was the ONLY
SOLUTION to the Mugabe problem! The journalist got the message loud and clear! There is
no peaceful solution to the Mugabe problem.

One of the Zimbabweans I spoke to, said to me, “It will only take me 2 days to round up 5,000
Zimbabweans in Johannesburg who are ready to fight Mugabe!”

Then they told me of how they had set about trying to start an army of their own. Each one had
a different story to tell. One former MDC guy told me of how he had arranged to meet with
Morgan Tsvangirai personally. He then told Morgan that the only option left was WAR! But
Morgan refused to consider that possibility. I was told that many young MDC supporters had
begged Morgan to start a war against Mugabe. One MDC member told me that last year, it was
obvious that Mugabe was going to cheat and that all democratic efforts at the ballot
box would come to nothing. That was when most of them felt war was the only remaining option.

I heard how someone else had made contact with a man who had served with the Israeli
Defence Force and was now living in South Africa. They had arranged for the Israeli to
train them. A South African farmer had said they could train on his farm. So then they went
looking for weapons.

They approached the American Embassy and asked the American government to supply them with
arms to overthrow Mugabe. But the American Ambassador told them that they should not engage
in violence. They were advised to engage in peaceful protests and in stating their case.
They went to the British Ambassador, and asked the same question. He sent their request to
London. But the instructions from London were the same as that from the Americans. Finally,
they went to the Australian Embassy, but the response there was exactly the same.

They were totally frustrated. Now they have to sit here, most of them without employment, and
they have to leave their families to starve north of the border.

As I met more of them, I could see how some of them would have preferred to just get on with
the business of fighting Mugabe. The time for talk is over. They’ve had enough of him. They
know that all this “diplomacy” is just a waste of time.

They told me that when they were in Zimbabwe, they had many friends in the Zimbabwe
National Army. While drinking, they would all relax and start discussing the possibility
of a war. They told me that the soldiers often said to them “If you guys start it, we will
change sides and fight with you!” Some of the Zimbabweans were convinced that if this thing
could start, it would soon turn in their favour. They said that the soldiers could see the
suffering of the people and they would turn on Mugabe. Of course, one might ask why the
soldiers did not start the war, but I never did. I believe that the key in all of this is
everyone’s fear of the spies. If you get caught, they will torture you. So fear is what holds
Zimbabwe together at all levels.

That is why all these Zimbabweans outside the country believed it was so important for the
war to start from outside the country. It is said that there are 2 million Zimbabweans in
South Africa, and over 300,000 professionals in London, England. I have heard that black
Zimbabweans are fleeing the country by the plane load. So the expatriate base is growing
with each passing day, and these are the people who could light the fire – but they would
need bases and arms.

Incidentally, the white Zimbabwean had said to me that inside the country, the state control
of the media is so absolute that the vast majority had no hope. The state media told them
exactly what Mugabe wanted them to hear, and this also added to the apathy and inactivity
which is gripping them all.

Recently it was announced that Mugabe refused some food from the UK. The UN and the Western
world are so intent on feeding Zimbabwe, that if left to them, nobody would starve. Clearly,
Mugabe wants his opposition to die off, and so he is obstructing food from time to time. Bit
by bit the situation is getting worse.

So there you have it! It is not that the black Zimbabweans don’t want to fight – it is
that they can’t get anyone to support them. They know that South African government
support is out of the question because President Mbeki is completely loyal to Mugabe.
Indeed, the black Zimbabweans I met became very angry whenever they heard how the
South African government commented on the situation up there.

The blacks I met were all very patriotic to their own country. Many of them, I might add,
are Christians too, and that motivates them a lot. They feel it is their moral duty to act,
but they have no money, and no government wants to help them. So they have to sit here in
South Africa knowing that their families are dying and they cannot get themselves armed so
they can try to save them. Isn’t that disgusting?

Everyone has been screaming for democracy in Africa. I have always said, I am utterly
opposed to a fake democracy where communists and Marxists dominate and shove their
opinions down everyone’s throats. I am quite Ok with true democracy here in Africa. Very
few places have it. Botswana being the only one in Southern Africa. But here we have blacks
who have seen the light and who are ready to do God’s work and to work for true democracy –
but nobody in the world, not even the Western Democracies, are prepared to help them. Don’t
you find that horrific? This is the moment of truth. Do we support fakes, or do we try to
help people get out of this nightmare situation? Is there nobody who is willing to help them?

If we look at the situation in Zimbabwe from a historical point of view, it becomes obvious
that we are facing a Golden opportunity. Let me explain. RENAMO, the Western opposition to the
Marxist FRELIMO, were created completely by accident. Back in the late 1970’s, Rhodesia needed
to attack Mugabe’s military camps in Mozambique. However, like the Israelis of today, each
attack brought a strong world reaction. So they decided to hide their SAS operations by
pretending that there was a fight going on inside Mozambique between FRELIMO and blacks
opposed to Marxism. There was no anti-FRELIMO organisation so the Rhodesian Army invented
a ficticious one. They created the name RENAMO which is a Portuguese acronym. Then they set
up a radio station in Rhodesia which broadcast anti-FRELIMO news to Mozambique. In these news
broadcasts, they spoke of this ficticious organisation called RENAMO. The SAS and other Special
Forces went into Mozambique and attacked Mugabe’s and FRELIMO’s forces. The blame was then laid
on RENAMO. However, when blacks inside Mozambique heard about RENAMO, they were so disillusioned
with FRELIMO that they were flooding over the border into Rhodesia to join this ficticious
organisation. The Rhodesian army then trained them, chose a leader, and sent them back into
Mozambique under the tutelage of the SAS. RENAMO did extremely well. Later, when Rhodesia fell,
South Africa managed RENAMO until they, sadly, distanced themselves from them.

UNITA in Angola is another example of the ferocity with which blacks can fight Marxism once they
have had a taste of it. Even here in South Africa, a large segment of the Zulu population fought
against the ANC. They were armed by the white government and they fought bitterly in Natal.

We also see the same thing happening in the DRC (formerly Zaire). The very people who helped to
bring that Marxist Kabila to power then turned on him. There were news reports that the CIA
helped train the anti-Marxist forces in Rwanda. The result was that they did exceptionally well.
Kabila needed armies from several African nations including Namibia and virtually the entire
army and airforce of Zimbabwe to stave off defeat. 2.5 million people died in that war in
recent years. It was the bloodiest war on the planet in recent years, but the communists did
their best to keep it hushed up. The communists were being thrashed. If the anti-Communist
blacks in the DRC had more Western support then they would have won. Ditto for Angola. Ditto
for Mozambique. The Western world has negotiated peace deals for three African wars which
could have been outright victories for us. Isn’t that pathetic?

Again, this is a normal trend. In Mozambique, Angola and the DRC we see that black anti-communist
forces kick ass in a very serious way. But in each case, the war is lost at the negotiating table
in the same way that Rhodesia, South Africa and South West Africa were lost at the negotiating
table. Both Israel and the USA may yet suffer a similar fate. All this talk of peace is just a
cover for surrender.

There is no question in my mind, that if we had an anti-ANC [African National Congress] government
in South Africa, that we would immediately start organising black Zimbabweans and letting them use
South Africa as the stepping stone from which to invade Zimbabwe and take their country back. But
with the ANC in power here, chances of that are nil. Botswana is a possibility. Botswana is an
American ally and very anti-Mugabe. But, Botswana is surrounded by strong Marxist neighbours.
They could easily be attacked by South Africa, Namibia, Angola and Zimbabwe if they supported
anti-Mugabe forces.

So here we are sitting in South Africa, with millions of black Zimbabweans ready to do anything
to destroy Mugabe. We hold the key to victory in our hands. But chances are it will never be
played. The only hope I see is that the Zimbabweans here, and the anti-ANC forces in South
Africa, should work together to try to remove the ANC at the ballot box. If South Africa were
run by any other political party, then it could easily influence its neighbours. All its neighbours
together, could not attack it and take it down. It is too powerful in the region. And it would
easily be able to destroy Mugabe through a combination of sanctions and military action.

Americans are always telling me that they have the right to bear arms because their founding
fathers believed that in spite of all the checks and balances, a government could still get out
of control. In that event, the people had to be armed to defend themselves. Here are patriotic
black Africans, ready to die in the name of democracy and true freedom, but nobody in all the
world will assist them.

This week, Jay Jay Sibanda’s Concerned Foreign Based Zimbabwean Nationals (CFBZ), had a
meeting to try to raise funds and get donors. They asked me to give a speech. In my speech I
told people that it did not matter if anyone supported them or not, because they would continue,
penniless, no matter the odds. I had seen how determined they were, and it touched me. I know
that same feeling. I know what it is like to crusade forth, with no organisation wanting to
associate themselves with you, but you do it because you believe in your cause. You do it
because you know it is right. Victory or defeat is IRRELEVANT. You don’t care if you win or
lose. You will struggle on to the end regardless. I can see they have that determination.

I told the audience that there is no revolution in history which started out with an easy
chance of victory. Even the Americans who started the War of Independance were a minority.
No victory has ever come easily.

I told people that this was not a get-rich-quick scheme either. These blacks had said to me,
they were happy if a committee of white people controlled all finances. Their only request
was that one black guy, their treasurer, be on the committee. Otherwise, they were happy to
leave all financial decisions in white hands. They also did not want white people working
with them. They wanted to hit the streets and talk to black South Africans face-to-face.
They wanted to go out and do the work. All they wanted, was the means to be able to do it.

I must mention that there was a news report from Zimbabwe recently, which shows that Mugabe
is well aware of this idea of an “invasion” by disaffected Zimbabweans. In fact, he wanted
to use it as an excuse to destroy the MDC. A newspaper in Zimbabwe carried a story about
how Mugabe had planned to send his own troops into Mozambique, to stage a mock invasion
from there. He would have his own troops intercept them. Some would be killed, and those
who were captured, would then “confess”. They would confess to being MDC supporters. Treason
in Zimbabwe carries the death penalty. Mugabe would round up the MDC leadership and charge
them with treason. They would be found guilty and executed. Problem solved. Luckily the story
managed to get out, and so Mugabe had to call the whole thing off.

I hope you can now appreciate the desperate situation of black Zimbabweans. When Jay gave his
speech this week, he said, “We blacks are to blame. We are the ones who put these dictators
in power and we keep them in power. We cannot shift the blame on to anyone else. When we go
hungry, our leaders convince us that our stomachs are lying to us, and we believe them.” He
went on to say “Under colonial rule, there were certain things we did not like, but even so,
we were much happier then. We at least had food on the table. Life under colonial rule was
better than it is now.” Jay is a Christian, and he acknowledges where they were at fault. But
all he wanted was to be allowed to act.

This week, President Mbeki said he would not work to “crush anyone”. He would not work to
crush Mugabe as everyone was wanting him to do. He would try to “put Zimbabwe on a new path”.
Of course, Mbeki has been saying this for two years, and it is obvious he is merely buying time
for his good friend Robert Mugabe. Mbeki pretends to care for the Zimbabweans, but in reality
the black Zimbabweans here in South Africa get extremely angry with the statements made by
Mbeki and the ANC. It should be said that Mbeki’s statements clearly show that the Western
World want him to take firm action against Mugabe to destroy Mugabe, but Mbeki will not.

Defeating Mugabe would be easy. The vast majority of the population are opposed to him. But
the world, including the Western world, are helping to prop up a man who is probably many times
more evil than Saddam Hussein. How can we all live with ourselves? How will we face God one day?
What weak excuse are we going to give to God?
