S.Africa: Boermag: ‘Prophecies sparked emotions’

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

[I must say, Adriaan Snyman, the author who wrote so much about Siener Van Rensburg, unleashed upon the Afrikaans psyche a most dangerous thing. He has single-handedly touched on the Afrikaans psyche in a way that nobody ever has. His writings, more than those of anyone else, have helped to fuel a militant atmosphere in conservative Afrikaner circles. Personally, I think this is good. Whites need, anyway, to be cheekier, tougher, etc – and if the prophecies helped achieve that – then great stuff. Rolling over and letting the ANC walk all over us is the wrong thing to do politically and militarily. Resistance – in all its forms – is something more whites should practise. Jan]

Pretoria – Predictions by prophets and attacks on white farmers caused emotions to flare up at alleged Boeremag meetings.

People at these meetings believed there were something else motivating black people who killed white farmers, Lourens du Plessis told the Pretoria High Court on Wednesday.

Du Plessis is the second state witness testifying against 22 men accused of, among other things, murder, high treason, terrorism and sabotage.

Du Plessis was answering questions on Sonja Jordaan, who studied prophesies by Siener van Rensburg and the stars, who addressed a meeting in July 2001.

Jordaan, a cousin of former police commissioner George Fivaz, allegedly predicted that planes would fall and that black people would attack whites. She apparently also had information of an attack that was supposed to have taken place in Johannesburg in October 2001, the court heard. This information fitted in with Van Rensburg’s predictions.

Du Plessis testified that he could remember Jordaan’s predictions, but that he did not speak to her.

He insisted that Mike du Toit, one of the accused and allegedly the leader of the organisation, was part of the plan to overthrow the government and that Du Toit often issued orders.

Du Toit denies ever conspiring with anyone to violently overthrow the government or to take over defence force bases and police stations with this aim in mind. He claims he never tried to convince anyone to become involved in such a plan.

The court also heard that Du Plessis was aware of allegations made in prison that a certain Willem Grobler received R250 000 to turn state witness. Grobler’s name does appear on the list of state witnesses.
