News – South Africa: All for money…

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

A Goodwood man was saved from robbers when a friend arrived unexpectedly and scared them off.

Amerodien Galant says prayer helped him to think rationally when four armed men invaded his home, tied him up and threatened to kill his five-month-old baby girl.

The intruders were inter-rupted by one of Galant’s friends, who asked not to be named. He arrived at the house to take him on an errand, un-aware of what was happening.

He confronted a man wearing a balaclava and then shouted for help. The men fled.

On Thursday Galant described how he had found the men inside his house when he went to answer his doorbell.

“I heard the bell and I was going to go and see who was at the door, but when I got there, they were already inside, screaming that they wanted valuables.”

Galant, who works from home, said people were always in and out of the house.

The men had marched him down his long passage to a back room and ordered him to lie face-down on the floor.

“Then they tied my hands behind my back and put a plastic bag over my head. They brought our domestic worker in as well and did the same to her. They kept kicking me, one stood on my back and they also stabbed me in my leg. They threatened to shoot me.

“It was as if they wanted to torture me,” Galant said.

One of the men rummaged through household items while the others demanded money and jewellery.

Galant said he had become “very scared” when the men threatened to harm his baby daughter.

“They said they would throw her against the wall if I didn’t give them money.

“I can’t begin to tell you how scared I was.

“I explained where the safe was and they took me there. I told them the combination and they took the money we had, which was for work that I am doing,” he said.

Galant’s friend said: “As I pulled up, I saw a red Jetta parked in front of the house which I didn’t recognise. I also noticed that the front gate was standing open – and this was very unusual.

“I was puzzled but I didn’t think it was a bad thing,” the man told the Cape Argus.

When he got to the front door, he saw it was standing slightly open.

“I pushed the door open further and the first thing my eye fell on was the plasma TV lying in the front room. I knew that TV belonged in my friend’s bedroom.”

When he shouted “hello”, a wide-eyed man with a balaclava pulled slightly over his face came “out of nowhere”.

“I screamed ‘What the hell are you doing here?’ and this man just looked at me. It was as if his eyes were standing dead still in his head.

“I could see he was completely stunned. He didn’t expect anyone else to walk into the house,” the man said.

He ran out of the house. “I shut the door behind me and shouted for help from the guys who usually sit on the corner.”

“Within seconds” he saw the men inside the house jump a perimeter wall and speed off in the red car.

“I screamed for someone to call the police. The guys started chasing them on foot and I ran to get my car to give chase,” he said.

Once the men fled, Galant managed to free himself and check on his daughter.

“I don’t know where the strength came from, but I freed myself. All I wanted was to hold my daughter. I’m still shaken. I can’t believe how lucky we are. Many don’t live to tell the tale,” he said.

Police spokesperson Superintendent Billy Jones said on Thursday morning that two suspects had been arrested on Wednesday.
