I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

20071130 Barend Jonker, 85, Ysterberg farm Limpopo – attached with axe while milking, now fighting for his life…
Dec 1 2007 – Beeld — Potgietersrus, Limpopo, South Africa. An 85-year-old Afrikaner farmer, Barend Jonker of the Geyser area near Usterberg, Limpopo was attacked while milking cows yesterday.
Two other district farmers murdered, two injured since Oct 26:
This is the area’s sixth farm attack since 26 October – and during which two farmers were murdered –and two seriously injured and still fighting for their lives in local hospitals.
The local Transvaal Agricultural Union (TLU) president Dries Joubert warns SA farmers that based on this rapid increase and the high level of ferocity shown in these latest farm attacks, this holiday season will be ‘bloody, violent and extremely cruel’ for SA’s commercial agricultural farmers once again.
Mr Jonker survived the attack but is in critical condition in Polokwane hospital.
The old Afrikaner was milking his cows at about 6am on his farm Rietvlei near Ysterberg when he was attacked from behind by someone with an axe. It’s not known whether anyone else was involved, but police are questioning a man.
A Netcare paramedic said Jonker’s face and head sustained ‘very serious injuries’.
A small amount of cash apparently may have been robbed but this is not yet certain.
Pieter Smit, Lunds Chicken farm – dead:
The Limpopo area’s latest wave of farm attacks started October 26 with the murder of Pieter Smit, 29 on the Lunds Chicken Farm by armed men who had ambushed him enroute to work.
He was forced back into his homestead and shot through the heart – assassination-style.His pregnant wife Natasha, 29, was injured in a leg when she shot back to protect her family from the armed men in their home. The couple’s 3-year-old son Pieter was hiding behind a cupboard at the time.
Machiel de Lange, 70 – torched inside his homestead:
Less than two weeks later on November 6, the charred body of 70-year-old Vaalwater Machiel de Lange was found inside his homestead.
It is suspected that the armed attack gang torched the farm house while he was tied up inside.
Callie Erasmus, 54, seriously injured
A day later on 7 November a farming couple of the Levubu-district was attacked, during which 54-year-old Callie Erasmus was seriously injured. He fought back and fired off a shot which injured one of the attackers.
The injured Erasmus still managed to tie up the attacker’s hands so that he could be arrested by alerted police.
And on 21 November, Flippie de Klerk’s dogs were poisoned in the Mokopane-region, near the chrome-mine. Security experts said it was believed that this was the precursor to a farm attack and De Klerk’s farm security was immediately stepped up even more — but this expected attack has not (yet) occurred.
Koos de Bruin’s farm attacked by 7 armed men:
The following day however, Koos de Bruin’s farm was attacked by seven armed men.
His safe keys were robbed and the attackers fled in the farm bakkie.
