[I got a call this morning just as I was about to go to work. PW Botha said I should take a look at Die Beeld newspaper because Andre P. Brink, a famous poet and LIBERAL… is very angry over crime!

I said to Mr Botha that bit by bit, people are coming round. Bit by bit people are waking up…

On a deeper level… Jeff Nyquist once raised a question in my mind which has been bothering me for years now. It has to do with Sun Tsu.

Many of you will know of Sun Tsu, the Chinese philosopher who wrote the oldest known manuscript on war, which apparently the Russians and Chinese are fascinated by.

Now it is said, by proponents of Sun Tsu, that this is the ultimate way to wage war… clandestinely… through secrecy…

But Jeff Nyquist once remarked to me, that maybe Clausewitz (German military thinker), is deeper than Sun Tsu. He basically questioned the value of secrecy and whether in the end secrecy does not really work.

I had a discussion with Colonel Redfern (Rhodesia Association), about the Selous Scouts in Rhodesia. He also made a similar type of remark saying that clandestine types of combat eventually become ineffective.

This brings me back to: Nelson Mandela’s Secret Army, and my theory that Crime in this country is a Secret Low Intensity guerilla war waged on us whites.

My question is whether this concept will ultimately fail. Yes, it may scare some whites, but it might in the long term just anger even more. The day may come when the ANC actually needs to openly tell us whites to F**K OFF… because the message is just “too secret” and it is not being communicated clearly enough to us!

Those “inadvertent” remarks by the Safety And Security Minister outraged and angered people… especially whites.

It could be that the “Secret Army of Criminals” might have scared a few hundred thousand out of the country, but it will have a limited value.

There may come a time when the ANC needs to be more OPENLY HOSTILE TO WHITES. It will put them in a spot though. It will be interesting to watch. Jan]
